WildMap — the hunting map for Australian hunters.

An offline-first map app for deer and game hunters across Victoria, NSW, and Tasmania. Cadastral land tenure, GMA zones, GPS tracking, and field-grade safety — usable without mobile data.

  • Land tenure on tap. Cadastral parcels colour-coded by tenure with tap-to-owner lookup (WFS-cached); public-land hints route you to the nearest accessible block.
  • GMA zone intelligence. Sambar, fallow, hog deer, duck and pest overlays with seasons, bag limits, ballot status and licence info in one sheet.
  • GPS tracks & GPX. Live recording with elevation profile, gain, top/avg speed; import/export compatible with Garmin, onX Hunt, Gaia GPS, AllTrails.
  • 12 hunting waypoint categories — including a Kill Site harvest log with photos and weather snapshot.
  • Field safety. Live VIC bush fire warnings with 20km GPS proximity alerts; emergency panel with one-tap 000 dial, SMS coordinates, and navigate-back-to-start.
  • Weather + solunar. Wind direction overlay, gust forecast, moon phase, and major/minor hunting periods via SunCalc.
  • 3D terrain with day/night sky auto-switching, plus 7,717 OSM camping grounds clustered nationwide — all offline.
  • Stack. React 19, Vite, Mapbox GL JS, Tailwind v4, Capacitor (iOS/Android), Supabase Auth + Realtime sync, Vercel edge.
